Our Instructors
Darla Schiebelbein
Darla, our studio owner, is the heart and soul of our gym! She's known for delivering high-energy classes that offer intense and perfectly balanced workouts.
While she's famously tough—she has a knack for kicking our butts—Darla infuses every session with so much fun and passion! Her toughness is always rooted in love and acceptance, as she genuinely believes in every single member. Darla knows you have the power to push, achieve, and exceed your goals. And yes, she might have to yell sometimes, but it's only to make sure you believe in yourself as much as she believes in you!

I have been teaching Group Centergy for almost ten years and yoga for six. My favorite style of yoga to practice is vinyasa but my favorite style to teach is restorative. I love nurturing people through yoga.
While teaching group fitness I’ve learned regular exercise helps me manage chronic pain and feel strong. It’s also good for my mental health. I love group Centergy and yoga, but I also enjoy walking, running and weightlifting.
My wish is for people to find a way to be active that you enjoy and to notice how much better you feel when you move your body. In the words of Bernie Clark “motion is lotion”.

I believe in workouts that make you feel alive and a community that makes you truly belong. My HLVL classes are high-energy, fun, and full of motivation — a space where you can challenge yourself, lift your spirits, push past limits, and leave smiling every time. Together, we sweat, we laugh, and we grow stronger as a team.

Fitness has always been an essential part of my life, as it trickles into everything I do. I love training my body to new limits through different forms of exercise. Our bodies are incredible — they’re meant for movement and for being pushed outside our comfort zones.
Connecting with the community through fitness is truly one of my love languages. Doing something fun and challenging together is what I call the ultimate hangout. :)
In my classes, people can expect to have fun, get into their flow, and work hard. You can definitely expect a fast jog in each class as we build endurance & strength while riding to the beat of incredible music.I bring Presence, Connection, and Intention to the HLVL experience, while we build strength, power, and endurance — one spin class at a time.

I have been teaching fitness classes since 2017 and brings plenty of energy, positivity, and a love for movement to every session. When not coaching, I enjoy spending time with my husband and squeezing in my own workouts as an enthusiastic (and proudly average!) CrossFitter who never skips a daily WOD.
You’ll usually spot me bright and early on Tuesday mornings, kicking off the day with an energizing spin class. Expect heavy rock, millennial remixes, and a vibe that makes waking up early totally worth it.
I can’t wait to see you at the studio—get ready for a great time!

I’m a mom of 3, local business owner and personal trainer. I grew up playing competitive soccer but my love for fitness really grew after I had my first daughter almost 9 years ago. It became my only real “me” time and I am so passionate about helping others in the community find their love for fitness as well.
You’ll find me teaching strength circuits where we focus on heavy lifting with little bursts of HIIT. The heavier we lift, the more muscle we gain and the stronger we feel.
I love meeting new people and being everyone’s hype girl. You’ll leave my classes feeling strong and ready for the next one!

Hi HLVL Community! I’ve been teaching yoga and group fitness for the past 19 years in gyms, clubs, community associations, and alongside local sports teams. From a young age, my parents modeled the importance of health and movement for me, and over time that has become my top personal value. Movement is truly my medicine — everything in my world feels better when I’ve moved my body in some way.
I found my way into the group fitness world through teaching step, spin, and strength training classes. While I loved the intensity, I eventually realized I needed a more balanced approach — one that supported my body rather than constantly beating it up. That journey led me deeper into yoga, where the majority of my teaching now lives.
My classes are designed to help you find that same balance: ease tension, prevent injury, improve mobility, and give your mind a place to rest. Whether you’re training hard or simply looking to move better and feel stronger, I look forward to meeting you on the mat!

"My love for group fitness developed after being a regular in all different genres. Taking regular Barre classes inspired me to get certified at the end of 2019. I love teaching Barre classes that make people feel strong, energized and confident. In my class you are sure to have a few laughs and feel the booty burn!"

Hello my name is Kara Dee, and for the past seven years fitness has been my outlet, my passion, and a key part of my journey towards a more balanced, holistic lifestyle. I thrive on the energy of group fitness and there is nothing like the power of moving together, pushing limits, and feeding off the room.
In my classes you can expect high energy and high intensity, with achievable options for every level of fitness. Whether you are brand new or you have been showing up for years I will challenge you to work hard, believe in yourself, and leave stronger than you walked in. I coach with intention, offering modifications so everyone can meet the workout where they are and leave feeling successful.
Come ready to sweat, be challenged, and surprise yourself. I can not wait to see you in the studio!

I am a passionate fitness instructor who believes movement should be joyful, accessible, and fun. When I am not on the spin bike, I'm outside with my family, hiking or biking. I love that HLVL is an encouraging, inclusive space where everyone feels welcome to show up and move together. See you on the bike soon!

Fitness matters to me because it’s about more than a workout - it’s confidence, stress relief, strength, and showing up as your best self. Community is everything here. In my classes, expect to work hard, feel supported, laugh a little, and leave stronger than you walked in. I bring real energy, encouragement, and a space where everyone belongs and feels capable.

Hey hey, I’m Shelby but most people call me Shelbz! I initially fell in love with the bike as a rider, and spent a ton of time on the other side of the stage, enjoying classes, before I started teaching. Somehow it’s now been 6 years of instructing. Time flies when you’re having fun!
I’m all about good music that you can karaoke to while we ride, connection, and ton of fun. I love to remind you how capable you are with a hard endurance track, and of course provide comedic relief whenever necessary. I’ll mostly try to make you laugh, but I’ll also teach you a riot of a spin class. -

Weight training changed my life- and it’s the foundation of everything I coach, with a little ride-style cardio sweat along the way.
With over 21 years as an experienced personal trainer and group fitness instructor, my mission is simple: to help you believe you’re capable of feeling strong, energized, and confident in your body. My approach is authentic, empathetic, and encouraging, balanced with discipline—Start by showing up and the results follow. I care deeply about your foundation, your form, and pushing you past the limits you’ve placed on yourself, finishing every class with a rush of endorphins (winning!). HLVL is a kind, authentic fitness home where you’ll never feel alone, and I’m honored to walk alongside you. My motto? If it’s burning, it’s working—every class you show up to matters and is never a waste of your time.
Let’s do this! -

I'm SO excited to be a part of the HLVL fitness family! With 13 years of spin instructing under my mic belt, I'm bringing the energy, the challenge, and a whole lot of fun. My happy place? A packed room, amazing music, heavy climbs, and intentional strength-based rides that make you feel powerful and unstoppable.
From the stage, I feed off your energy and love motivating riders to push past their comfort zones. Expect to sweat, feel strong, and leave feeling hyped, proud, and ready to take on anything. Let's ride! -

I create a supportive space where everyone feels welcome—no judgment, just music, movement, and motivation.
Dance fitness has the power to transform not only the body, but the mind, and I’m passionate about helping others discover that for themselves.

As a SPRA Fitness trainer, CSEP- CPT, Menopause Coaching Specialist, PE teacher, wife, and mom who keeps fitness real, fun, and doable. I’m all about building strong bodies and confident minds—whether that’s in the gym, in a school gym full of kids, or in everyday life when motivation is low and life is busy.
My style is equal parts sweat + strategy: workouts that make sense, progress you can actually feel, and a whole lot of encouragement (with the accountability to match). I love strength training, spin, yoga, pilates ~ really all physical activity. Community, consistency, and celebrating the small wins that turn into big changes is what really keeps me coming back for more. -
