Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is the fastest growing martial art in America today. Often described as a mixture of wrestling and Judo, with submission holds rather than pins, BJJ has proven to be the grappling art of choice for mixed martial artists. Consequently practically every martial arts school includes some form of grappling instruction.
BJJ is fun and challenging, both physically and mentally. The words "Jiu-Jitsu" refers to "soft art" in Japanese, making BJJ an excellent lifetime sport not only for those looking for a competitive outlet, but for anyone who wants to get and stay in great shape.
High Level Fitness offers the most complete adult and juvenile BJJ curriculum and the finest instruction on the Main Line. As a proud member of one of the east coast’s oldest and most established BJJ communities, Team Maxercise Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, High Level has access to all of the instructional resources and support that a larger team can provide.
Kids/Teen Jiu Jitsu
The KJJ program, ages 7-12, incorporates fun, respect, discipline, patience and the proven techniques of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Our young students leave each class with usable, practical skills designed to keep them safe on their own and to help them grow into strong, decisive and capable adults.

“For me, your class in self-defense was unique. To be put into a life-threatening situation and then taught basic skills of self-defense as a means of removing oneself from harms way, was an experience well worth acquiring. I highly recommend it others. Hopefully I will never have to put it to use.” … June Di Rienzo Fisher, realtor
